We are proud that we could present five top quality presentations from our own membership. These five authors (or rather seven since there is one triple-author presentation) took you on a trip to Iceland and Nepal and closer to home to the Belgian Kempen, Limburg and exclusive ponds and marshes in our area.
Jan Roofthooft
"Iceland - Frá ímyndun til veruleika"
Iceland, natures master piece. Smoking lava fields, colorful plaines and mountain slopes. Even some of the ice covered mountains are active volcanoes.

"In nature's tracks"
Images of vast heath lands and woods, rivers, bubbling brooks, marshes and fens. Even in our affluent and urbanized Flanders there is a role for nature conservation. This presentation is a tribute to all people that volunteer to work for the preservation of our natural landscapes.

“Close to the water surface”
Nature photography close to home is an indispensable diversion for me. To be outdoors, savour nature and stillness.

“Mustang”
Mustang is an old kingdom in de Nepalese Himalaya. For the photographer, a journey through this area is both a feast and an exercise in survival. There is simply ‘too much’ to photograph. I know few places where culture and people live so harmoniously with there environment..

"De Kempen close up"
De Kempen consist of sandy, poor grounds. We briefly take you through this country, that was partly created by man. Soon we focus on the fascinating world of insects and other ground level creatures. Small and wonderful.
