BioFoto presents Norway
Biofoto is a Norwegian union for nature photographers. Its aim is to provide a social and stimulating milieu for both professional and amateur nature photographers. Beginning among biologist students in Trondheim in 1979 Biofoto now has about 1000 members all over Norway. It has local groups that meet in several places including Oslo, Bergen, Aalesund, Hamar and Trondheim. A local group is also founded in Sweden and Finland will get a local Biofoto group this year. Biofoto publishes a high quality quarterly magazine “naturfotografen”, yearly calendars, conducts workshops and arranges a variety of photo travels and exursions. Biofoto propagate ethical thinking about nature and photography.
The presentation at the festival is a spectacular show with pictures from the local groups covering most of the nature and wild animals typical for the different regions of Norway.
