Terre de Renard

The fox impresses everybody, whether perceived as useful or harmful, whether admired or abhorred. While the fox is not very welcome and often persecuted, it survives. Foxes even settle close to humans, in cities and towns. The French wildlife photographer Fabrice Cahez, author of the book “Terre de Renard” (World of the Fox) has observed this animal in its natural habitat, for 20 years during all seasons. He invites you to discover the hidden life of the fox. His focus is on the positive role of the fox in its natural surroundings because rodents are his favorite prey.

Fabrice Cahez is high school teacher and in his spare time passionated photographer and writer. He likes to rise early to observe mammals and birds in the surroundings of his village in the French Vosges. He authored seven books and is a contributor to the BIOS photo bureau. His book “Terre de Renard” was distinguished with a price of the Academie Française.
