Nature in Estonia - Beautiful Islands
"My presentation will show the beauty of the Estonian biggest islands. Nature of the Estonian western islands is very diverse. There are lot of species of birds, good variety of wild orchids and a lot of beautiful landscapes and sightseeings. This all makes Estonian islands a good place to live and an amazing place for naturephotography as well."
"I am born on Muhu island in West-Estonia in 1971 and I live now with my wife Angela and our 2 little children on the biggest island in Estonia which is Saaremaa. I started to photograph nature when I was a teenager. I have won several prizes in Estonian nature photo contest through the years. And I am glad that I won Grand Prize "Dancing Wolf" in 2006 with my landscape photo and second prize this 2008 year in category of "Mushrooms and Plants". I have presented my slideshows in many different places in Estonia and also in Finland and Germany. As I record nature sounds and like to write and play music, I always make live music by myself during my slideshows and you can hear also nature sounds recorded on these islands"
