Who are we

Membership

BVNF is a home fore inexperienced up to professional photographers, as long as we’re dealing with responsible nature photography.

  1. Every member commits himself only to take nature photographs according to the BVNF code of conduct.

  2. You’re welcome on our monthly meetings:
    - get in contact with other nature photographers
    - learn out of the experience of others
    - show your slides / digital images and learn from the comments
    - projections by members or other nature photographers
    - explanations about the technical possibilities and evolutions
    - get to know the latest news
    - every last Friday of the month, in Antwerp
    - every first Friday of the month in West-Flanders, Roksem

  3. Receive 4 times a year our periodical
    - reports about interesting spots to take pictures
    - the latest news and our new activities
    - interviews
    - announcements of contests and exhibitions
    - second-hand equipment
    - put your own experience and pictures in Objectief

  4. Maybe, your best pictures will end up in our exhibition which can be borrowed.

  5. Frequently, BVNF is asked to help magazines and publishers with their need for nature photographs, i.e. nature conservation organisations. Why won’t your pictures be suitable for it?

  6. Be a part of the success of our international nature photography festival and add to the promotion of responsible nature photography. So we together can bring the splendours of nature closer to the public.

BVNF quarterly, size A5,
 every issue mostly 36 pages with all sorts of news, technical information, 
exchange of experience, travel reports, and photo's in black-and-white. Dutch language.

Membership: 15 €. Foreign: 19 €
By paying the fee, you get a membership-card and you’ll be member for the ongoing year. If you pay during the year, the earlier periodicals of that year will be send to you.

Non-members:
Periodical Objectief: 14 €. Foreign: 18 €
