Who
are we
BVNF is a Belgian union organised by and for nature
photographers.
BVNF is founded in 1980 and represents nowadays about 260 nature
photographers who agree with our code
of conduct. Translated, our
name means "Union for responsible nature photography".
BVNF propagates nature-minded ways of nature photography to potential
beginners as well as to experienced nature photographers.
BVNF tries to
stimulate the sense of responsibility in nature photography by giving talks, projections, demonstrations and
information on its monthly meetings (at 2 locations: Antwerp and
West-Flanders), in its periodical
'Objectief' and on the diverse websites of the association.
For the interested public, every 2 or 3 years BVNF organises an international
nature photography festival with exceptional, international presenters
and with striking presentations from members. On
that occasion, a new exhibition of the best work of our members is
presented, which can be borrowed later on by other organisations and
companies.
